The Good Dog Spot in Chicopee MA has a Pet Groomer/Stylist position open for an individual experienced in pet grooming using modern tools, equipment & methods and also knowledgeable in animal care and hygiene.
The primary job responsibilities include grooming each animal to The Good Dog Spot standards, safely and humanely, using up-to-date tools and techniques, providing exceptional customer service to all clients both human & pets, ensuring the cleanliness of grooming and lobby areas as well as providing backup assistance in daycare as needed.
The major challenge of this position is balancing client expectations with the reality of what is actually possible and assisting in front office duties all while working within the time constraints of each appointment.
The qualified individual will be responsible, reliable and trustworthy and will have 3 to 5 years’ experience as a pet groomer at a reputable grooming salon and/or a certificate of completion from and minimum of 650 training hours at a professional grooming school.
